Hello,
Following Chris's advice, I installed Python 3.10.6 from Python's
website. It gets me past the header check for gdb, but then it reports
checking whether to use expat... yes
checking for libexpat... no
configure: error: expat is missing or unusable
make[1]: *** [configure-gdb] Error
