XUL splitmenu

Two questions about element: #1) I wanted to displya a check-box in front of the element, but setting type="checkbox" and checked="true" doesn't help. Shouldn't this just work? Is this a bug? #2) It looks like that the element doesn't work on OSX. Correct? Honza _
