We currently have a little over 20 TB of compressed telemetry documents stored
in HBase. The compression is LZ
At about 11 AM Pacific, a database server that supports the Telemetry
dashboards started suffering severe performance problems. We were able to work
with IT to rectify the issue, but during that time, the site was unavailable.

There were changes to the mainline code this week that cause the currently
posted patches not to apply cleanly at the moment. We have new re-based
patches that will be updated by Monday morning.
