Hi,
Is there a plan to release a version of the maven-tomcat-plugin with Tomcat 8
support?
Couldn't find announcements / discussions in the mailing lists or the Jira
project.

I was wondering when I could expect a 2.0 release (or at least a new beta
release) of the tomcat7-maven-plugin.
Did you already set a release date?
I am asking because the fix for
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/MTOMCAT-136
Isn¹t included in 2.0-beta-1.
