I've also realised there are two unix versions of profont, the later
version added Xft support. So I'll try what you say and if that
doesn't work I'll try out the earlier version. Thanks!

Profont [1], unfortunately, only seems to work with Xft; I can't seem
to specify it with something like this line:
"-*-terminus-medium-r-normal-*-12-*-*-*-*-*-*-", which is what dwm
