don't have a chance to prevent it. The only way to fix it is rewriting all the gui code - which neovim is likely to be doing. Mappings can be changed by the user trivially. After all I'm still using Vim for everything even though I know that some pieces should be improved. Marc Weber

ger is another possibility. I never used it though. If all you need is thunderbird and firefox there is no need for WMII. However having many windows its the fastest way to manage them because my workflow is: goto tag, find window. Sometimes I switch tasks so I can just keep everthing open and return to a tag later.
