I could share my config but I can't say this is the most curated configuration... I have multiple projects and machines and I don't synchronize them all to this because I forget and simply don't care enough to bother sometimes. And if we can't make it the default then it's okay; it's just a sugges

I did a bit of poking around, and it’s not super clear. The Flink project tried and ended up abandoning it, https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FLINK-4370 , though they did adopt a check style using IntelliJ. Apache Kyuubi went the way of R
