this includes maintenance of maven3 branches of plugins.
If I understand correctly when cutting a release we will cut a release of

Gary confirmed that the issue in Surefire was gone with 1.27
The new Commons Compress fixes one bug: A bad Bzip2 file can be created if
you use a buffered output stream.
