If there won't be a pre/post-site phase in maven core, then this sounds
like a way solve it. I don't think that it's necessary to beta-6 though.

All issues schedule for 2.0-beta-6 of maven-site-plugin has now been
resolved and the latest SNAPSHOT has been out for a couple of weeks. No
new issues have been opened for that SNAPSHOT.
So this is the final call before I start the release process for
