Guys, This wasn't my point. I'm not discouraging regular releases - I think that's great. I had a problem with there being 10 issues in JIRA not getting any attention before a release. Vincent didn't have time to fix it (which we can all relate to), and the single feature in the release was more

I agree with Vincent here. There are a couple of reasons for this: 1. I'm a big fan of "release small, release often". This methodology works very well if you have a smothly working infrastructure for building, testing and release, which is the case in Maven as well as most Apache products. This

Vincent, I saw the release went out - do you have a specific reason for needing to cut the release so urgently? if it was http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/HAUS-617, I think the timestamped plugin snapshot I suggested was a better alternative. - Brett Brett Porter wrote: I'm -0. There aren't real

I'm -0. There aren't really a lot of new features, but there are 10 quite similar unfixed bugs in JIRA. I'd prefer as many of them to be knocked off first. That said, I'm not volunteering to make the fixes, so if there's a pressing reason to get those additions out there, then go ahead. Releas
