have liked to take another look at DOXIA-410 before the next linkcheck
release, I think the patch there is good but needs some tweaking. I

Think about plugins which use ${project.reporting.outputDirectory} in
there conf.
A properly [0] implemented reporting plugin must not use this value
during the site lifecycle. But you're right, updating the model is more
robust as it captures the buggy plugins as well.

This fix was made on the Maven core,
I think that we must wait for an httpClient 3.0 final release to upgrade it.
The RC2 is actually available and we can hope that the final release will be
available soon.

Looking at the bug report, it appears it was a bug in The Apple JDK, in which case
WON'T FIX is
appropriate.
I agree with Dion, WON'T FIX is better than CANNOT REPRODUCE. And we should not close
bugs that we
know are still in existence and not superseded, nor should we close feeature requests
ue is still valid it can be reopened.
