I left the new CSS and template there (though note that the template
suffers from some bugs that have recently been fixed in the site
plugin itself, like the | to the left of the published date).

I'll re-send the maven-site.vm. The LHS menu kind of depends on it to be
readable.
The CSS could be tweaked, for sure, but the larger point here is that the
site needs to be based on "em"s, not "px"s. Some of our monitors are largers
than our TVs ;)
