Yep, add it to the .htaccess in the top level site is the convention used -

Yep. The code's there if anyone wants to contribute, but unless someone here
speaks up, I don't think anyone intends to do further work on it.
It would be super-helpful to fold all the JIRA projects related to it, too,
since occasionally people get confused between the versions.

I don't suppose you can avoid resolving it though, and just prepend "../" as
long as you know the depth from the original project, and know that the
previous value was already relative? Don't forget to cover the Maven 3 case
where turns off the default.

eate a new annotation/attribute to obtain the maven-internal bits; and if
that has happened then...
- move @required to be an attribute of @parameter, as it makes no sense for the
other annotations
- drop @readonly, as it's redundant on every type of annotation

Artifact.isSnapshot()
It uses a regex from Artifact.
Note that in some cases isSnapshot() has side effects in DefaultArtifact when
called.
