Semeru is based on OpenJ9 whereas Temurin builds are HotSpot based. It

Hi folks,
Wanted to offer an one 'end user' data point. For transparency, I run Java
engineering at Microsoft (including supporting Minecraft and LinkedIn
subsidiaries). We're one of the Big Tech Co's that have moved 90%+ of their
Java workloads off Java 8 onto 11+ :-).

As an FYI - https://adoptium.net/en-GB/support/ can give a guide as to the
thinking around OSS support for Java 8 (Nov 2026 is the minimum timeline,

to catch up!

Hi all,
Long time lurker, I'm de-lurking because I like to harp on a bit about
how to run a successful open source project (based off Karl Fogel's
teachings at http://producingoss.org) - got to love opinionated
lurkers right? ;p

Ah thanks,
Hi all,
Hopefully this isn't too much of a stupid question :). I'm attempting
to make a documentation patch for the document located at:
http://maven.apache.org/guides/getting-started/maven-in-five-minutes.html
I've created the JIRA etc, but I have a couple of questions:
