Hi Robert,
I am not sure which part of the dependencies report you are referring
to, but that goal does not run at all for me.
With Maven 3.0.5 on my personal project it says:
[INFO] Generating "Dependencies" report ---
maven-project-info-reports-plugin:2.10-SNAPSHOT:dependencies

Christopher,
We fixed this in SUREFIRE-1498 for version 3.0.0-M1.
If you want to, you can build and use SNAPSHOT version.

Hi Michael,
I've come quite far, but there's at least one report that's causing some
issues.
On the dependencies page it is possible to show a matrix of all the
dependencies and all specified dependencies to show where it is available.
I haven't seen that chapter, not sure if anybody is us

This has been fixed on current master.
Just wait for a release, I think we will be able to cut it soon.

Version 2.21.0 didn't quite achieve a perfect fix. Now the plugin proceeds,
but instead, I get the following in my build:
[WARNING] Corrupted STDOUT by directly writing to native stream in forked
JVM 1. See FAQ web page and the dump file
/path/to/target/failsafe-reports/2018-04-04T14-48-54_810-jvm
Enrico: Thanks for the info. I'm using the version inherited from the ASF
parent POM 19, which turns out to be 2.20.1. Version 2.21.0 seems to fix
the problem. Thanks!
Tibor: No, I didn't get previous email. The Maven lists are too spammy for
me to subscribe. That could be the reason. Please CC me
Hi Robert,
I have more information now. The build is successful if the dependency in
assembly.xml does not have artifact with classifier.
As soon as the assembly points to project dependency with classifier, this
specific build using javadoc:aggregate fails.
Maybe it would be better to provide tin
Hi Tibor,
Maven core will never call MavenProject.getArtifact().setFile(), this is
a task for a plugin.
There seems to be Jira issue already for this issue: MJAVADOC-490[1]

Hi Robert,
This issue is caused when I use maven-javadoc-plugin:3.0.0 with goal
"aggregate".
I could not find such setter [1] but I think this is caused by Maven core
because this plugin only forks "compile" phase within Parent POM which I
guess affected the Project Model of particular child.
