I'd favour just checking out the tag and fixing locally and deploying
the site... but I'm ok with any other suggestion that gets the site
fixed

I had briefly used 3.0-beta-x, but I thought I switched back to 2.
Should I make a branch just to fix the site config and redeploy?

Very cool Hervé and thanks for your efforts.
If you have time, review the documentation!

Java grammar [2].

Hi,
Combining the two of these because of
http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MGPG-38 and
http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MDEPLOY-137 being essentially mirror
features of the same functionality.
We have solved a number of issues:
Deploy:
http://jira.codehaus.org/secure/ReleaseNote.jspa?projectId=11
which version of the site-plugin did you use (it is not fixed in the
wagon pom?)? I did a quick build with site-plugin-3.0 and breadcrumbs
look ok.
