I know we vacillated back and forth on these issues. The trouble is the javadoc
goal is bound in the release profile which is getting activated when people do
releases. IMO we should put javadoc back the way it was in 2.4 and make the new
goal as intended to be used from the cli. This way it jus

method as crawling central will likely get you banned. There's no need
to sync twice a day. We pull in once from all sources at night (CST) and
then push out
It looks like Clean 2.3 is ready to go. This would require a release of
shared filemanagement 1.2.1 as well.

In fact, MJAVADOC-168 readds the original behaviour for generated sources.
MJAVADOC-104 was an @aggregator pb and this was reverted in 2.4. In
2.5, we have javadoc:aggregate so try with this goal.

It's probably a general plugin API problem which is not surprising.
So we'll schedule that into alpha-2 or alpha-3.
