An upgrade to the latest HttpClient would be nice. The current http
provider code is 1 major version behind and a number of fixes behind.

Bad news: jaxen is used in the core [1]
Good news: Arnaud had already upgraded a lot of deps and attached
patches (MAVEN-1797 - 1805), among them for jaxen [2]
Should we work on m1.1.1 with only upgraded deps?

Hi jeff,
What you have to check, it is if jaxen is loaded by the core. If that's
the case, the version in the core is always used.
If not, it is the version of jaxen used by the first plugin loaded which

Hi Arnaud,
PMD 4.1 has updated its deps (e.g. asm and jaxen), and I am concerned on
upgrading the plugin. I know you (and possibly others) spent considerable

Hi Hervé,
The goal of this branch was originaly to release the site plugin and
MPIR, without an important issue found in the doxia-1.0-alpha-9.
Now that site plugin is out, I dont think that we need to maintain it:
I hope we will release beta-1 instead of alpha :)

This release fixes some bugs and makes some improvements. The last

Actually, the other option is to just remove the -sources jar from the
staging area and not "release" that. Just the actual jar and the

I wish I would have caught this on all the releases in the last several
months, but
The -sources jar that is generated does not contain the required NOTICE and
LICENSE files. Thus, it's not releasable according to Apache rules.
The "fix" is to update the version of the maven-source-plugin

This was already discussed, but the conclusion was not clear.
Do we migrate https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/incubator/ivy to
https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/ant/ivy
(core, ivyde and site being subdirectories of ivy)

Jason,
Sorry about this. I've been on vacation since ApacheCon and didn't

Looks like Carlos applied your patch. I also just committed fixes for
MRRESOURCES-27 and MRRESOURCES-28 and deployed a new
1.0-beta-1-SNAPSHOT.
If you could give that a quick try, that would be great.
Please update the version in the maven parent pom, we should release it later

ok, just changed my mind. after reading all comments and looking into my
needs now. I can work with with the mapping, specially because i need
only one at the moment.
It is MUCH more important there is a consistent mapping! Than it is that
somebody like me likes it or not.
