The problem is that the PDF plugin uses by default the navigation.xml (or another one)
in your xdocs directory.
I'll see if it is possible to use a navigation.xml

In this patch I had disabled forking but that caused me out of memory errors when
running multiproject (with 5 projects).
I solved it with fork=true and maxmem=128,
