Hi Jac
Hi,
These months I have been tackling a series of issues having to do with several
inconsistencies in the geode-native client after a cluster restore.
The later one has to do with subscription notification and cached regions. The
scenario is as follows:
1. Start the cluster and the clients. F
It's been two weeks since support/1.14 was cut, and the 1.14.0 blocker board[1]
still lists 5 issues (1 still Unassigned).
Given the lack of activity on GEODE-8943, GEODE-8860, and GEODE-8809, should we
defer them to 1.14.1 if we still "aim to ship on March 12th."?

For clarification, does the a Java client show the same behavior in missing the
events after restore or is this something you are saying is unique to the

The Redis Compatibility effort has a few things we're hoping to backport to
1.14. I am putting together a list of tickets now and will report them later

The Geode Redis Compatibility code is working to emulate the Redis eviction
policy “noevict”; when memory fills up, the server refuses new write commands
until deletion or expiration has cleared space.
Right now, part of the implementation is calling

Why is calling InternalResourceManager.setCriticalHeapPercentage(..) necessary?
This configuration setting is accessible from the public API
GemFireCache.getResourceManager().setCriticalHeapPercentage(..).
Perhaps this configuration property can be specific to the Geode Redis module??

I'm not sure what you mean when you say "adding a general
critical-heap-percentage parameter". The old xsd allowed it to be configured
using xml. gfsh start server supports it with --critical-heap-percentage. And
external java apis exist for it as John pointed out. Are you considering adding

Hi Jake,
I can already access to the pipelines. As for your question regarding
usability, I think everything seems self-explanatory and I think with the
current access almost all issues can be troubleshooted.

Mario.
