I will be traveling and would be away from my computer, so I will not be
able to build a new RC when we are ready. Meanwhile Dan & Owen has offered
help for 1.9.0 and they will be filling me in as release managers.

I'm actively trying to track down what's going on with this test. It
looks like a real failure in the new SSL over NIO code.

we should fix for 1.9. The code in question was heavily modified for
this release.
