Yes there is... Google thought its a good idea to change the scoring's
to 0 - 10 in the last minute without even notify the org admins. So we
are currently working on a "mapping" table to get this resolved
without the need to rewrite our scoring process...
So please stay patient..

Hi Uli,
thanks for starting this. I think I would also some sentence that explains
that projects "should/can" start label issues/tasks for GSOC now but should
be aware that the ASF is not accepted yet.
Rest looks good.

Hi there,
this email is mostly for the co-admins. How you guys thing it makes
most sense to manage tasks for GSOC. JIRA 4.x has labels build in so I
think we should just use them. For projects that use Bugzilla I
suggest we go the way Ross told us todo. So just ask them to create
the tasks in JIRA
As far as I understood it help to get new orgs/projects into GSOC. So
for example some project which is hosted on sourceforge or something
like that.

I thought only one co-admin is possible. So even better. Thanks for
the feedback :)

Hi there,
I plan to submit the application for GSOC within this week. I see we
have three possible co-admins: Rahul Akolkar, Uli Stärk, Mladen Turk.
So all of you are still happy with helping out ? Or someone wants to
step back ? Just to be sure if we need to flip a coin or just choose

Hi there,
after some very busy weeks I'm back on track to prepare for GSOC 2011.
I talked to Gavin about what todo for projects to "tag" JIRA issues
which are a good fit for GSOC. As we now on JIRA 4 we can use labels
again (as it has label support build in).
Now some questions on the "old mento

Hi there,
sorry I should have notified the list too but I missed it due some
deadline at work :(
All I got from google was this email:

Hi Ross,
ok so the projects would just manage the tasks in their project space
and we use a "filter" to find it. Ok makes sense.
Thx for the feedback.
