I think it would be useful to poll ASF members' opinions. This would
not be a vote (in the sense that any action would result if the vote
'passes') even though we may choose to implement the poll using STevE
during a members meeting. It would allow us to gauge where opinions
are, and track changes
Arrow is considering registering as a Digital Public Good. See
forwarded email, also in archive [1].
Any thoughts on this? We know that Fineract has been through this
process. Is registration something that other projects should
consider?

I find that assigning work is better done outside of Apache. As a committer
triaging bugs, the committers to whom you might assign those bugs don’t work
for you. (Of course, you and they might work for the same company. But when you
are both wearing your Apache hat, no one works for anyone else.
r their help.

Does anyone have any resources/suggestions for making the Apache
release process work smoothly for a community whose culture expects
very frequent releases?
Some background. I am an ASF member and PMC member of Arrow. I am not
very active in development, but am doing my best to oversee the
project
