The Apache Commons IO team is pleased to announce the release of
Apache Commons IO 2.20.0.
The Apache Commons IO library contains utility classes, stream
implementations, file filters,
file comparators, endian transformation classes, and much more.
Version 2.19.1: Java 8 or later is required
Yeah, I think Maven likes to fork things by default. I'm not sure if
there is a general way to say "fork nothing". It would seem painful
and clutter to configure each plugin to no-fork goals. Maybe that's a
feature request for Maven?

Commons IO 2.2 requires
We have fixed a few bugs and added some enhancements since Apache
Commons IO 2.14.0 was released, so I would like to release Apache
Commons IO 2.15.0.
Apache Commons IO 2.15.0 RC1 is available for review here:

The build is broken (see GitHub emails), please fix or revert the
problematic commit.
