Projects have open PRs all the time for dependencies or other reasons,
that's no reason to downvote a release candidate IMO. I prefer RERO to
bigger releases FWIW.

There are multiple open PRs waiting for review, including apparently
two to upgrade the dependent logging libraries this library is a
facade over, wh9ich seem pretty important. These should be resolved
before cutting the next release.
