Hi All,
I'd like to implement:
[CONFIGURATION-661 Update platform requirement from Java 6 to 7
as a requirement for:
CONFIGURATION-662
Add API org.apache.commons.configuration2.DataConfiguration.getPath(String)
methods
and whatever other Java 7 types will come in handy.
Thank you,
Gary

+1 with the understanding that this necessitates releasing [rng] 1.1 first.

Hi.
Is there a caveat or objection to upgrading the CM
dependency on
Commons RNG
to version
1.1-SNAPSHOT
on the "master" branch?
[Rationale is that it is highly unlikely that CM 4.0 will
be released before Commons RNG 1.1, and the change will
entail some minor adjustments in CM (cf. issues op
That sounds like an overlapping concern with commons vfs. I've never really
seen custom URL handlers out in the wild besides some basic zip file system

Not sure if it's what you mean, but there already were issues
opened for tracking progress towards a release.

Has anyone created a Jira as a mechanism to track the decisioning process of
classifying the other Jiras in a project? Just curious, because it seems more
appropriate than having that discussion out here on the mailing list.
Thoughts?

Build works fine with Java 1.6 and 1.8 on Windows 10. Artifacts and site
look good. There is a bunch of PMD warnings, but these have probably not
been introduced in the 3.1 release. Good release notes!
So +1

Who has permissions to update the Commons Text project page? It's
unfortunate that under "Release Information", it says "There have not been
any official releases yet."
I'm referring to this page:
https://commons.apache.org/proper/commons-text/
Also - congratulations!
