Obsoleteness of some of primitives

It looks to me as if a great deal of the current primitives package is obsoleted by autoboxing. For now, I'm concentrating on adding what got me started, which is sets and maps that do NOT do autoboxing. At some point I'll ask for thoughts about deleting all the redundant code and calling this 2.0
