The problem is that in applications using commons config they would like
to specify an interface in lots of places. HierarchicalConfiguration
would be perfect for that. It should just extend the Configuration
interface.
I'm also a little confused over CombinedConfiguration and
ExpressionEngin

what's the process of re-activating a project? In this particular case I
tried to contact the CSV committers first via email and then through
this list. I submitted a patch and I'm willing to submit more patches
and to participate in the project.
