Where are those utilities mentioned on the "Cutting the Release" page?
The verify_sigs.sh, sign_and_hash.sh, etc.? It says they're in SVN,
but I couldn't find them. What's the full URL?

Yes, they will disappear, but may take a day or so to be picked up
(longer than the new files).
File deletions are only synched once a day between people.a.o and
www.a.o, whereas new files are done more frequently (2 hours?).

I think I messed up my symbolic links. I named them
commons-proxy-bin* rather than commons-proxy* for the binary
distribution files. I have renamed them. Some of the mirrors are
showing the *-bin files already. Will those disappear when they get

Yes. But what's the problem? For the inceptionYear, that has to be

1.3
1.3
Surely these should (MUST) be defined by the specific child POMs?

Hi,
I'd like to release version 8 of the commons-parent pom - the changes
since the last release are:
- re-order mailing archives
- configure the maven-bundle-plugin (for OSGi)
- configure the commons-build-plugin (for OSGi)
- maven-install-plugin 2.1 --> 2.2
- maven-surefire-plugin 2.3 --> 2
