the HttpComponents team has moved it's website, including
the Commons HttpClient site, from Jakarta to our new domain.
The redirects are in effect at Jakarta, but maybe you want

Thanks. I will apply this when I am back online. One thing I don't
understand is why the unit tests (which test eviction) do not hang.
Any ideas on that or tests we can add to pick this up?

I've built and unit tested on Sun's SDKs and all is well for 1.4.2, 1.5.0,
1.6.0. All is well on the current stable build of Apache Harmony. Harmony does
give some compiler warnings that would be nice to clean up, nothing major. For
