yes, I believe we should have a release after the cherry-pick and
cleanup work are complete. It has been a long time since the last
release 1.6.0 (non-Apache release). We can discuss it further in this

AFAIK, I think we will have the first official release after entering the
incubator, probably named Apache Cloudberry 2.0.
