Hi again, I was able to reproduce the issue on a fresh installation, using VirtualBox. - install Ubuntu 12.10 - add new disk then use Gparted to create partition table + format (e.g. /dev/sdb1) - create a folder /Ma Musique and add it into /etc/fstab as mount point for /dev/sb1 - reboot => you

I would like to be able to change that directory too. By default, it is located in XDG_PICTURES_DIR gnome directory. But I would like to move screenshots elsewhere so that XDG_PICTURES_DIR is only for my own personal pictures. That makes sense too me, it is the way I use XDG_VIDEO_DIR, XDG_MUSIC
