you can only save the file as output.pdf, and THEN rename the file to a

that's exactly it.. i click print to file, type a "customfilename.pdf",
go to the desired directory folder location, and click ok.. but it
doesn't output.. only when i click print to file and leave "output.pdf"
does it print/output the file to a pdf.. why? what's wrong here?

Tried blanking a dvdrw, wouldn't read the dvd, had to eject forcefully,
but the volume still lists in the devices column of nautilus and won't
allow me to "unmount" even though the drive is empty.. nor will it allow
me to mount..
