Same problem with Dell PowerEdge T420.
I tried the hack provided by Zoltan but its not working for me!!!
I am going to try ubuntu 12.04 instead.
hope that ubuntu will provide some solution in its updates...

i think ubuntu is best one but some basic software take this backward,
like there ar'nt any software who scale the proper image in proper
scale(manual pixels) like paint do in windows

I can confirm this.
We have applied the latest updates to few laptops and those experiencing
crashes. Sometimes the whole computer freezes (we have to hard reset the
system) while sometimes the window manager crashes but the system is still
responsive. There is no information in the syslog whe
