[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1810310] [NEW] Network-Manager - Incorrect settings during Installation

Public bug reported: Hi, Apologies for this, but I am not an Ubuntu Desktop user. I do, however, frequent a few Linux forums and try to help people out on occasion. Recently there's been a spate of people reporting Network-Manager in Ubuntu having wrong settings after an install. Examples are:
