I'm resetting this bug to NEW.
I realize this is an experimental feature that's enabled by using an
unintended tool. As such it's probably a very low priority, but it's
still a bug. We need to, at minimum, acknowledge that it exists.
I still have this issue with Precise 12.04.1, kernel 3.2.0-31
This bug still exists in Oneiric 11.10. Along with other icons, notably
the Zoom In/Out and Normal Size in the Nautilus View menu. Going on two
years without packaging these icons and it would be nice if they were
included.

Correct, it no longer suspends when it shouldn't.
However, there is still a bug highly affecting release quality in gnome-
screensaver. The screensaver ignores the settings under "Screen" and
never resumes from screen blanking, X must be restarted. The only
resolution is to kill the gnome-screen
Eugene, no those were not my settings for suspend behavior.
It is set to suspend after 10 minutes on battery and when the lid is
closed. On AC it is set to never suspend over time or when the lid is
closed. Furthermore, changing the dconf settings was not effective, the
behavior returned after a
dpkg -s gnome-settings-daemon | grep ^Version

This issue still exists as of this post on Gnome 3.2.0.
My laptop suspends after an unknown period of time regardless of the
settings I choose in Power Settings.
Currently, it is set to suspend only when on battery power (it is on AC
always at home), but still suspends after time. Also, the resu
