Ubuntu 17.10 boots to black screen when using Nvidia drivers (
today xubuntu deployed kernel 4.0.13-17. Looking into grub editor at
starton, gfxpayload option isn't shown any more. Does kernel update edit
grub boot options? If yes, how is etc/default/grub updated? Otherwise
latter update-grub would restore options of historic version?

DVD konnten nicht gelesen werden. Dies könnte daran liegen, dass die DVD
verschlüsselt ist und eine Bibliothek zur DVD-Entschlüsselung nicht
installiert ist.

Libre Office 3.4.4
Mostly LO-Splashscreen spontanously is being started while working with
Thunderbird 10.0.2 (FF opened, too)

evince shows pdf correctly, even as print overview. HP710c prints blank
pages, but cups is in good function with Libre Office etc.
