I observed this issue when opening a file selector in Chrome and Firefox.
It took about 10 seconds to open a file selector, and moving to a subdirectory
also took several seconds.
This issue didn't occur in other applications such as gedit and Files, so it
may be different from the one discussed
I also had the same problem on Zorin OS, and the suggestion from #18 fixed it.
It's been a while since I tried that fix, but the steps are as follows if my
memory serves:
1. `sudo apt remove xdg-desktop-portal-gnome`
2. Log out and then log in

Regarding Freshplugin, I am too using it, but:
1) Flashplugin 11.2 is crashing at the very same pace as Freshplugin is, the
difference is that it does not take the browser with it.
2) Both Flashplugin and Freshplugin are perfectly fine with Mozilla's binaries.

There are delimiters in file.
Regarding schemes:
gsettings-daemon patched to apply temporary gconf schemes according to session
name as following /usr/share/gconf/SESSIONNAME.{manda
Regarding unity_support_test:
When running /usr/lib/nux/unity_support_test inside running NX session, it
works and returns 0.
Any ideas how to simulate real conditions for it to crash?

suspend after 10 minutes when on battery (configured for your user)
suspend after 30 minutes when on adapter (system default
/usr/share/glib-2.0/schemas/org.gnome.settings-daemon.plugins.power.gschema.xml)
Is that what you see in "Power Settings" dial
I can't specify exact reason, but on my system the issue is gone.
