I have tried changing the columns and rows in profile preferences but
selecting more than 36 rows makes terminal to start in fullscreen mode!
I have changed the font size to "9", so using 36 rows I have still lots of
empty space on the desktop!

Any LibreOffice applications are unusable in tablet mode also on Ubuntu 18.04 -
22.04 on a Dell Latitude 2-in-1.
The scrolling works neither via dragging nor using the scroll bar. The latter
is not a touchscreen sensitivity issue as it works in Firefox.

Tied together with NIS/NFS in a fairly ordinary way. Thus users see the
same firefox profile which ever machine they are using. Switching to
snap moves the profile, cache etc etc into the snap directory and
isolates the firefox
I have this bug _but_ it went away about two months ago after some
updates but has returned with vengeance a couple of updates ago and
after the latest updates (including kernel and pulseaudio) it's really
borked.
Previously I'd have no sound until I did pulseaudio -k which would fix
everything.
disabling usr.lib.libreoffice.program.senddoc doesn't fix it but does
change the nature of the compliant from RW to X
disabling usr.lib.libreoffice.program.soffice.bin, in addition, solves
the kmail problem and permits running of kmail
=> apparmour profile problem

Got this recently in kubuntu 18.04.1 ff 63.0.3
tabs crash and just hang and "webcontent" consumes 100% cpu until killed
off. Several times a day. Seems random, once killed same content can
be view.

(1) the libreoffice packages didn't ensure gstreamer is installed
(2) libreoffice produces uninformative errors
Unless I uninstall ubuntu-restricted-extras and gstreamer1..0 I can'r

I've resorted to deleting everything in my home directory containing
"akonadi" once all the directories were gone stuff started to work
again. I had to reconfigure kmail to find my mail folders and I think
I've lost my calender (since I'm using it as a front end for google
calender I think I can g
I saw this but...
Even if I knew what database was corrupted (and where it was), what
would I do with the data once the tables had been dumped? I mean it
isn't apparent that I would be able to reconstruct the akonadi databases
in any meaningful way to get kmail and kpim working again with my data.
Now kmail won't even start:
