[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1337414] [NEW] 14.04: Modem Manager Always Crashes

Public bug reported: I have just installed Ubuntu 14.04 (64-bit) and when I tried to connect to Internet via USB modem (Sierra 308), modem manager always crashes. The USB modem worked well in Ubuntu 12.04 that I used before. Crash report is attached here. Here I also include an excerpt of Syslog:
