gnome-shell crashes randomly and regularly since 25.04 upgrade, multiple
times per day. Happens when computer is unattended as well as while in
use.
Logs show no pattern before the crash, then
GNOME Shell crashed with signal 11
nautilus[812314]: Lost connection to Wayland com
Unfortunately just had another crash, so doesn't seem 100% fixed despite
applying the above workaround. Had 6 days running without any problems,
which was a huge improvement.

Can now confirm that MUTTER_DEBUG_KMS_THREAD_TYPE=user seems to have

I confirm this bug with an encrypted key. In my case the problem was
that the keyfile was inside a drive that was not mounted at boot. So nm-
applet tried to open a non-existent file, and the result was an error
message saying the key is not encrypted. This should be fixed

Oh dear, I didn't think apport-collect would submit more than just an
attachment. For what it's worth, the bug wasn't in effect while doing
that, I had to read the menus. Same situation as above - Intel video,
Xubuntu, only for me the bug appeared only after updating to 16.04.
