After logging in using the CTRL-ALT-F4 to get a new shell, it seems the

It seems that libei is not a dependency for xwayland, and hence xwayland never
gets compiled with support for using libei for xtest emulation on XWayland.
Hence, xdotool, steam etc can not utilize the now excisting XTest emulation,
which works in for example Fedora 40.

Turns out my Kubuntu 22.10 (main system) still has PulseAudio installed, but
isn't being used

Turns out it was that package, or cpp-11, in 22.10 repo that was causing
my issue as I'm now able to start it after removing cpp-11 & g++-11
packages.
