with hardwaredecoding VAAPI videoencoding needs to be supported. For
conference tools like google meet chromium needs to support
videoencoding and videodecoding with Webrtc. On Windows both functions

Changing the printerdriver from driverless to a selected Cups driver for
the printermodell solved the issue on my end. It seems that snaps that
are not using Cups-control are having trouble with connecting to
printers using the driverless approach.

I fixed the problem myself by setting the printer up with a cupsdriver.
Since my printer is connected to my LAN as a networkprinter it is using
the default "driverless" setup that works out of the box after i install
Kubuntu. It works for native apps and flatpaks as well. Applications

Why do you expect attributes to be consistent when switching from one
style to another? If your default paragraph uses a (directly applied)
italic font style it will be removed when switching to any other style.
We could turn this question around and ask what you expect when
switching from one sty

Seems to affect my system as well. I am on Kubuntu 21.04 with KDE Plasma
5.22.2. Thunderbird is basically unusable on Wayland for me. The whole
ui is flickering especially when a reminder notification appears.

I'm wondering why this has not been fixed after such a long time. It can at
least be improved easily.
If the Adwaita theme works (which it does in may case, too), then it is (at
least partly) a theme issue.
In fact, some defaults seem to be missing in the Ambiance and Radiance themes:
By setting
"Shift before"... I wouldn't understand this command. So let's not make
compromises.
I'm pretty sure we can evaluate LTR/RTL and update the command label and
the various captions accordingly.

I have the same problem (pidgin 2.10.3 on mint 13 with unity and
backport). I can also make pidgin show up when I remove

Same bug happened to me but I found an easy way to resolve it at least
for my case: In the sound settings I switch to the "Hardware" tab.
There, for me, two devices are shown: "RV710/730" and "Internal Audio".
If for "RV710/730" I switch the profile from "HDMI profile" to "Off"
