I just installed these 2 packages from Debian Sid (unstable) in this

The 2 packages easily replace the packages from ubuntu, and so far there

My sound is recognized by ubuntu 12.04.
Sound-indicator is working well.
I am able to play sound.
I am able to play sound with my sound card ALC-861-AV, but in the
gnome-control-center i am unable to select a sound profile.
There is no sound profile which i can choose. It i
couple releases back but I guess
now in the current release it gets installed and started automatically
so it's no longer necesary to do it myself. At least this seems to have
solved my particular issue.

Yes it is a command which may cause some problems. But what about fdisk or dd.
So i should not report a bug when the command is "unsafe"?
As you said this command should reset all of MY settings. NOT ubuntu DEFAULT

Building firefox-kde-opensuse on ArchLinux is a pain... It fails at
every new Firefox version...
Chromium have KDE support without any code linked to KDE... It just use
kdialog to save/open file... And revert button order when KDE is
