Ubuntu 18.04. And I also strongly disagree that this feature is counter
intuitive.

I've got a similar problem with thunderbird and firefox. There is a
black border when opening and resizing the frames.

I cannot edit my last post, hence I attach a better version of the

I also experience this nasty bug. It is present for many years now. Up to
