Really we need more people testing 25.04 first. This is not a bug I
could write a universal test case for because it is so hardware-specific
(doesn't happen for me on 24.04, for example).

Public bug reported:
There was an announcement [1] this week that Ubuntu Desktop 25.10 will
no longer include the Xorg session. Ubuntu Desktop no longer needs
xserver-xorg in the default install and is working on removing it there.
The 'xorg' metapackage has a hard dependency on xserver-xorg. 'xor

A backport would be great. Since this is a long-standing issue with
gnome, I can confirm that it happens on my computers from Ubuntu 20.04
to 24.10.

I remembered Thunderbird deb is also a deb->snap package, for which,
contrary to Firefox and Chromium, I didn't submit the work-around, so I
used it to test.
But Snapd 2.68.4 is already fine, as Snapd doesn't stay radio silent

I think this could be caused by the monitor positions being slightly
weird (none are at 0,0). Although that's not a good excuse and it's
still a bug... Your Samsung monitor is positioned at x=47, y=0 which
doesn't make much sense. Try moving it to 0,0 in Settings or just edit
~/.config/monitors.xml
Thanks for showing me that command, I hadn't found it before.
