I reinstalled ubuntu 23, and didn't install anything else. I'm still
having the flickering when connecting an HDMI to an external monitor.

I've noticed this in the past. It might be because DING had to use a
maximized window on Wayland:

Well I found a solution when I downloaded the breeze theme I got breeze-
cursor instead of a white square when I use dmz-white in wayland when I
move the cursor to dash to panel. It is also the default cursor in xorg.

In Nautilus, browse to another hard drive present in your computer (it
gets auto mounted during this process and you will see the files\folders
on it displayed). Then click on "Add to Bookmarks" - The drive appears
in your sidebar and you can click on it in the sidebar to view
For (1), I do have encrypted home directory. Although this is probably
less relevant, I also use the second user I created (i.e. I'm UID 1001
and I don't really use the UID 1000 user)
For (2) and (3) (i.e. system-packages-doc) I'm not sure how to gather
the info you need. Do I need to revert snapd

The Ubuntu Error Tracker has been receiving reports about a problem regarding
gnome-shell. This problem was most recently seen with package version
44.3-0ubuntu1, the problem page at

This looks like a confused installation. The GPU is Intel, but you have
an Nvidia driver installed, and an AMD kernel workaround on the command
line.
But none of that should hurt...
What will hurt is the unsupported "oibaf" packages you have replaced the
