Hi, I tried to validate the patch, the issue still persists if I try to
right click any app on the dock while an application is full window
mode, attached the video, let me know if I am missing something.
In the video you can see my chrome window is in full screen mode and I
open the dock by hover

If I may add, it seems not all application windows are equally subject
to this super annoying bug, at least subjectively some more so than
others. For example, I "lose" Geary behind the dock almost all of the
time, whereas Vivaldi is always respectful of where it is supposed to
start and end :)

I'm using a Yubikey with U2F during gdm3 login which works however
sometimes without a reason, gdm asks for smart card instead, ignoring
the inserted key and doesn't allow me to login at all unless gdm is
restarted from another TTY.

only handled by the backend renderer (networking-daemon: sd-networkd or
NetworkManager) that is instructed to control that interface nowadays.
