to function correctly with the `snap`-ified Firefox distribution in the

Terminal. I have latest Ubuntu MATE 22.04 LTS:

Running gsettings with sudo seems to nail it:
sudo gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.lockdown disable-lock-screen 'true'
