Oops, Goth Queen actually provided a solution earlier, it was just difficult
for me to understand at the time. Enter whatever fixed DNS server you want and
set 'Automatic (DHCP) addresses only' under IPv4 Settings in network-manager
for the default network connection. So just manually entering in
[Expired for xorg (Ubuntu) because there has been no activity for 60
days.]

The problem is not that a recent change in resolvconf caused a
regression.
The problem with resolvconf is that the upgrade to network-manager
exposed an existing bug in resolvconf.
This happens because the new version of network-manager now tells
resolvconf that it must only use a specific
Asus Zenbook Prime ux32vd laptop. I've got "The system is running low
graphics mode" dialog on VT2, and usual lightdm greeting on VT7 after
upgrading from 16.10 to 17.04.

I have some networks shares in our office which are not secured with
passwords. Unfortunately nautilus is prompting every time I want to
connect to these shares. When I enter a username and password I can
store these credentials in my keyring, if I want to connect as Anonymous
The easiest way would be to simply disable the -Werror=deprecated-
declarations and see how this goes, but the *proper* fix would be to get
rid of the deprecated functions and use the new, proper ones instead. I
leave the decision how to proceed to the upstream developers.
Anyway, I propose a merg
Just a note - an experimental removal of -Werror from configure.ac makes
the trunk buildable again (with the dep-change branch applied). This
means that the only issues with the package right now are the
deprecation-warnings (or other warnings) - no other build issues.

Now the brightness save/restore is handled by systemd service now. Can
you check the status of the service?
On my system, I can find it via

still working on a proper solution for xmir, which I'm close to
committing.
